The Bankroll
Ok so I am now making an attempt to build a bankroll so I will be able to consistantly play in the $1/$2 game. Suggestions for a bankroll for $1/$2 vary from $800-$3000 depending on who you ask. I am gonna reach for the lower end of that. My goal is to start with $20 and to try and get to $1000 by January 15. I know this sounds out of line but hopefully I can pick up some tournament wins along the way.
Big weekend coming up as alot of my bankroll is invested into it. On Saturday is franks tournament(winner gets $230) and on Sunday is Tadley and Smittys tournament. Both should be good times and a cash game is following the Sunday tournament. I plan on playing alot this break so i could really use a boost this weekend.
Heres a little story about the .25 .50 game that I'm pretty happy about. I've entitled it: I really do get respect
Flop comes J x x rainbow and I hold 85hearts. This kid Scott bets out $3 into a $6 pot and I make it $15 to go.(all-in) He takes awhile a lays down QQ... WOW. talk about getting away with a terrible read/play. Anyway at least it shows I get some respect...
For everyone who just read that and was left saying "Who the fuck cares about your bluff Mesisca." how about you leave a comment or email me a hand situation and Ill put my take on it... I would seriously love to do it but havent got any yet...

How about you write about this play:
in a .25/.50 game, UTG calls, Seidel AA makes it 5.50(all in), "someone calls with 23 suited", UTG calls
Flop A45
enough said, good play.
So basically you got caught by the dog catcher and then you got lucky and the leash snapped.
