A poker group

So lately ive been considering starting a serious poker group. Of course we all know about the stratford sharks, but guess what, they are just about dead. This time I want it to be different. No I dont have a catchy name for it, but the eventual plan on top of strategy etc. would be to share a bankroll. It would obviously have to be a serious commitment, but I just want to experiment with things such as, would a community bankroll work, can we really make people that better of players just by discussing strategy? etc. I only plan on having 4 people at most. Probably going to be two. The reasons being: 1. I wouldnt be comfortable sharing strategy with too many people, I mean its just not smart. 2. Sharing a bankroll is a serious thing... I obviously have a few people in mind for this not-yet-named group, but I plan on assembling it before the Main Event on April 9. I am going to talk to some people about it, but if you read this and you are interested let me know. I will probably do something corny like hand quizzes etc. to see how valuable you would be as a "teammate."

This is just an experiment but if your interested email me maheha@comcast.net or you can hit me up on aim: This Is Mesisca

If you're interested in playing in a quality poker tournament league I suggest you keep reading. Our tournaments contain quality players and good payouts. The league is done in seasons. Each season contains six minor events($20 buy-ins; one event is non hold'em) and ends with a $40 buy-in Main Event and a T.O.C. During the season player points are kept to track players performances, determine who enters the T.O.C, and who is that season's top player. The winner of each tournament receives a medal at the end of the season, and the season's top player receives a trophy (all medals and trophies are personally engraved with name and event). To understand more about the tournaments, talk to Mesisca or email me at sjpokertournaments@comcast.net The website below also contains tons of information about how our tournaments are run along with past tournament results and statistics.
